Theresa May Has Lost Her Mind
“This is nuts,” one senior Labour source told me yesterday. “They tried separating out the withdrawal agreement from the political declaration before Easter and it didn’t work. There’s no way we’d support it.” https://t.co/s4rJZkgy5N— Pippa Crerar (@PippaCrerar) April 25, 2019

Pelosi Wades In
All very well, except there is no deal at the moment!Let me be clear: if the Brexit deal undermines the Good Friday Accords, there will be no U.S.-U.K. trade agreement. #Dáil100— Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi) April 17, 2019

Leadsom Loses Touch With Reality
The Berlin and Paris meetings are simply the Germans and French being polite, and hoping they can coax a better performance (than the previous occasions) out of May when she faces the full EU again tomorrow.Andrea Leadsom here, saying how "fantastic" it would be if Angela Merkel would agree to reopen the Withdrawal Agreement when she meets Theresa May this morning, to deliver "a proper UK Brexit." pic.twitter.com/xFiiG9AVXP— Daniel Hewitt (@DanielHewittITV) April 9, 2019

Stuck In Purgatory Forever
It seems we will be stuck in purgatory (neither pproperly in, nor properly out) forever now.Brussels sources are also expecting long delay. Lots of anxiety about offering short one because of elections, repeat extensions etc... https://t.co/CbXFQoFLTf— Pippa Crerar (@PippaCrerar) April 3, 2019

May Hands Control of Brexit To Corbyn and Parliament
Yesterday, in a speech of very thin gruel, May handed control of Brexit to Corbyn and parliament.
Whilst the ERG et al fulminate that this is a betrayal, it may not be entirely what it seems.
For why?
Given that we have only until 12 April to formulate a plan that the EU will accept, pound to a penny Corbyn screws this up and Parliament ends up deadlocked. As such we will leave the EU without a deal, and May can blame Corbyn and Parliament for screwing it up!
Of course given how unpredictable the ongoing Brexit shenanigans are, it is highly likely I am wrong!

Today’s cabinet meeting could be the most important of Theresa May’s term in office - and possibly of the last 50 odd years. Because the time to prevaricate on Brexit is almost exhausted - with an emergency EU summit having been...— Robert Peston (@Peston) April 2, 2019

A Failure of Compromise?
Boles may well be right about the Tories. However, he should not ignore the fact that May's deal would have passed if Labour had voted for it. The failure of compromise lies with all parties at Westminster, not just the Tories.BREAKING— Steven Swinford (@Steven_Swinford) April 1, 2019
Nick Boles resigns from the Conservative Party
'I accept I have failed. I have failed chiefly because my party has failed to compromise
'I regret that I have therefore resigned from this party'
This is evidenced by the fact that all of last night's indicative votes were defeated.
