The Brexit negotiations continue apace, with the usual sticking points (fish, level playing field) remaining.
There may, or may not, be a deal within the coming week.
Who knows?

BREAKING: the EU's chief negotiator Michel Barnier will propose that between 15pc and 18pc of the fish quota caught in UK waters by EU fleets will be restored to the UK under a free trade agreement, @rtenews understands

Contrary to speculation by some of the media, Barnier is returning to London this weekend (post quarantine) for further negotiations.
This time he brings fish.
Barnier has cancelled briefings to EU side - planned for Tues night and then Weds lunchtime - only a hint, but perhaps a good sign that negotiators are churning through the obstacles to a deal, working not briefing!

I and our British🇬🇧 team have been in talks almost every day since 22 October.
In case anyone is interested, or believes it, the new "deadline" for conclusion of the Brexit negotiations is 19th November.
Don't hold you breath folks!
The House of Lords has voted against Boris's Brexit Bill.
Peers voted by 433 votes to 165 to block the bill.
Thusfar Boris is planning to continue with the bill, even if it upsets Biden. However, if the EU and UK agree a Brexit deal this becomes irrelevant.
New: EU source says the UK has yet to reply to the European Commission's formal letter of notice, triggering legal action over the UK Internal Market Bill, which breaches the Northern Ireland Protocol. The deadline for a response was Monday Nov 2.
