The EU's Irish Protocol
The Protocol on Ireland is quite breathtaking in its level of detail. It establishes a "common regulatory area" between north-south, covering customs, VAT, energy, env, agri, product markets and more. This is the enforcement section -- full ECJ jurisdiction over Northern Ireland pic.twitter.com/nKH1M09HFt

It is very nice of the EU to go into such detail.
However, it is effort that has been wasted as it will be rejected.

Cabin Fever Sets In With The Onrush of Snow
When I was a young boy we were told to stay away from the Troubles on the Caledonian Rd & marching bands in Regent's Park. The Chalk Farm Peace Agreement has brought peace in our time. People can get the tube from Camden Town to Finsbury Park without being searched at the border. https://t.co/Mok7Byylju

Brexit Sub Committee Hold a Country Awayday
Theresa May and her senior ministers will today attempt to hammer out a deal over the government's approach to Brexit when they meet at Chequers.
The Brexit sub-committee will meet at Chequers and spend the day attempting to do what they have thusfar failed to do, namely agree on what we need/want from Briext.
It will of course fail:
1 Given they have failed thusfar, one day will not bring forth agreement.
2 Hammond and Johnson are diametrically opposed to what we need/want from Brexit.
3 May neither has the authority or respect of the Cabinet to be able to knock heads together.
It will turn out to be nothing more than a day in the country.

David Davis Is Not Mad Max
Davis: They fear that Brexit could lead to an Anglo-Saxon race to the bottom, with Britain plunged into a Mad Max-style world borrowed from dystopian fiction. These fears about a race to the bottom are based on nothing, not history, not intention, nor interest
