The great unwashed (myself included) concluded months ago that if the ERG blocked May's deal, then Brexit would most likely fizzle out or be suffocated.

It beggars belief that Mogg and the ERG, allegedly well educated and intelligent people, are only now waking up to this and realising they have most likely destroyed the chances of Britain leaving the EU!

Correct me if I am wrong, but according to the statue books Brexit is still going to happen on March 29th at 23:00.

In the event our illustrious political elite want to delay that, shouldn't they be passing a new statutory instrument?

For reasons that only the ERG can probably understand, its current position appears to be that it will create a situation where Brexit is delayed for months if not years.
