No Breakthroughs Expected
As Brexit negotiations resume, no one expects any breakthroughs.
This is a long game, where the final deal will only be concluded at the end of the two year negotiation period.

The Incompetence of The Home Orifice Laid Bare For All To See!
Theresa May admitted that the Home Office made an “unfortunate error” when it mistakenly sent up to 100 letters to EU nationals living in the UK ordering them to leave the country or face deportation.
An absolute disgrace that this has occurred; it does not augur well for the competence of the Brexit negotiations, nor for the security of our borders!
Theresa May's old department, just saying!

The Constructive Ambiguity of David Davis
David Davis seeks to make a virtue of "constructive ambiguity", saying: "Sometimes you will find it difficult to read what we intend."— Jim Pickard (@PickardJE) August 15, 2017
In other words, and quite rightly so, we need "wiggle room".
Fair enough, but at the end of the day Lord Tebbit has nailed it!

"Johnny Foreigner" Denies Brit Brexit Negotiators Water
As per the Telegraph, a civil servant wrote:
“Yet the most significant bit of feedback to emerge from the slightly combative early meetings is also perhaps the most elemental one. Water. Or to be precise, the lack of it.
They suggest that Johnny Foreigner had clearly attempted some unsporting tactics to get the upper hand.
This was clearly not a perfectly understandable oversight, but a piece of outright treachery.”The solution?
Bring British spa water to the meetings!

Not with the UK though... pic.twitter.com/VP45p7Ay5k— Lord Ashcroft (@LordAshcroft) August 6, 2017
It seems to me that any organisation that relies on force to underpin its "credibility" is a busted flush!

Lord Macpherson nails it, by stating what I have said from day one:
“Historically, Britain has always stared into the abyss, only to pull back. The question is, is Theresa May's control freakery the right way to "get a grip"?
My hope is that someone will get a grip before it’s too late.”
