In the end Brexit will be reversed because the under 50s overwhelmingly hate it (not to mention a majority of the non-English of all generations) and reversing it will be their cause until that is accomplished. A reversal of Brexit (post Brexit) is entirely possible, if the EU still exists.
However, that would take many, many years; not least because the EU won't rush to put down the welcome mat anytime soon!
